Lambournes, has been an independent butchers for well over a century and is a well established butchers in the Cotswold market town of Stow on the Wold. Renowned for locally-produced meat, poultry and game.
Mark and Tracy Jones recently brought Lambournes in September 2022 and have settled in well and carrying on the traditional family butchers with their two children Henri and Ella.
Our customers are made up of both regular local residents and tourists who stay in the Cotswolds. Our shop has been a butchers for 100 years, and at one time included a slaughterhouse round the back.
A key concern for us and our customers is traceability and we can honestly say where all our meat is from. No order is too big or small: you can buy one chop rather than a pre-packaged quantity at the supermarket, or we can make bigger orders for an event. People often comment on the traditional, old-fashioned cuts we use, and ask advice about how to cook a certain meat.
